Five Tool Recruiting

Welcome to The Home of Five Tool Recruiting

Welcome to the home of Five Tool Recruiting.  The Five Tool Recruiting program was designed to personally help each of our players with their college recruiting process.  Our staff has had over 200 players earn the opportunity to play baseball at the collegiate level since 2002.  Our staff has an established and respected reputation with college coaches and is known for placing quality players into programs that fit them academically and athletically.  Our staff prides itself on taking a personal interest in each player while helping each of them navigate through the recruiting process.  We work directly with the college coaches, student-athlete, and parents throughout the entire process.  Our goal is simple.  It is to help each of our players find a school that fits them academically, economically, socially and athletically.

Position Players:  (Including two-way players and catchers)

All position players will have the opportunity to take a round of bp and 1-2 rounds of groundballs for all the instructors/coaches in attendance.  The position players will then be split into smaller groups of 5-8 players.  Each group will then rotate through the following stations listed below.  These stations will be instructed by Division I, Division II coaches, and/or former/current professional players.  This will allow all position players a chance to hit multiple times in front of the college instructors/recruiters.

  • T-Work
  • BP 1
  • BP 2
  • Infield
  • Home to first times
  • Recruiting

All pitchers will throw a 15-20 pitch bullpen in front of all the instructors/coaches in attendance.  All pitchers will be given time to warm up indvidually as well as time to warm up on a practice mound right before they throw in front of the college coaches.  After all pitchers have thrown, the pitchers will go with the individual pitching instructor to discuss; overall pitching mechanics, mental approach, arm care, and expectations of being a college pitcher.  The pitchers will also spend time discussing the overall recruiting process with a college instructor/camp instructor.

All catchers will have the opportunity to have three "pop" times recorded in front of all the instructors/coaches in attendance.  The catchers will then go with the individual catching instructor to discuss; overall catching/throwing mechanics, pitch calling, leadership, and expectations of being a college catcher.
